Germering - So far unknown perpetrators broke Saturday morning, November 20, into a jewelry store on Rathausplatz in Germering and stole jewelry of enormous value.
The Fürstenfeldbruck criminal investigation department has started the investigation and is now looking for witnesses.
Already in the
night of October 9th to 10th,
strangers tried to break into the jeweler, at that time still through the rooms of the nearby town hall.

Back then, the perpetrators only caused property damage, this time they were successful.
The perpetrators reached the store via the rear side of the jewelry store, as the
police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North
explained in a first press release.
There they brutally destroyed
several showcases
and stole the
jewelry on display
.
Unrecognized, they managed to leave the building before the police patrols arrived and to flee in an unknown direction.
Witness reported burglary - report further information to the FFB Kripo
Shortly after 1 a.m.
, a witness living nearby heard
loud noises from splinters of glass and immediately alerted the police via an emergency call.
A few minutes later, the reporter heard a vehicle drive away.
Police search measures initiated immediately have so far been negative.
