During his interview with SANA reporter Ben Iyad, the bakery has three branches in the city of As-Suwayda, in addition to work centers in some locations, and the outcome of its production three years ago was the creation of an attached mill, including the grinding of grains needed by the project, in addition to grinding for a fee to citizens.
Multiple products for the brothers’ project from the Dahok family combine tannour bread, sweet marshm bread, lazakiyat, yellow corn flour, oats, and barley, in addition to the manufacture of bulgur and kiosk.
Raed, 44, said that his father, Farhan, taught him and his brothers to eat from their fatigue and toil, so they went to this project, which depends on what the land produces of goods, indicating at the same time that the marketing of their products takes place within the markets of As-Suwayda and the Damascus countryside.
“There is fatigue and effort, but on the other hand, there is a result from my work in the project,” said Philip, 35, who expressed his happiness to work in a private project and secure expenses for his family members, stressing the importance of striving to reach the desired goal in life and finding a job opportunity instead of relying on others.
The project, which achieved stability for the brothers, faces difficulties, as they indicated, the most important of which is the lack of gas in the required form, stressing that this did not affect their determination to continue work, their determination and their quest to expand their project during the coming period and provide new job opportunities.
