After the corona summit of the federal and state governments on Thursday (November 18), the Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) is taking a special route.

Söder, Minister of Culture Piazolo (Free Voters) and Minister of Health Klaus Holetschek (CSU) described the protective measures adopted at a press conference on Friday in view of the skyrocketing numbers.

"If things continue like this, our health system will definitely be on the verge of collapse," said Holetschek.

Lockdown threatens in hotspot areas.

Corona in Bavaria: Which rules should apply to hairdressers soon?

The 2G rule should apply to body-hugging services.

This means that only those who have been vaccinated or recovered can visit a hairdressing salon.

However, if the hairdressing salon is located in a hotspot area in Bavaria, other regulations apply.

A hotspot area is defined by the seven-day incidence.

If the key figure is over 1000, services close to the body must be closed.

A visit to the hairdresser is then no longer possible.

The regulation ends when the incidence in the respective district has been below a value of 1000 for five consecutive days and the trend is downward.

Protective measures in Bavaria: when do the new rules apply?

"We act quickly, consistently and immediately - and very much hope that it works," said Söder at the press conference.

However, the new Corona package should not be finally decided in the cabinet until Tuesday and then discussed in the state parliament.

This is necessary with such cuts, said Söder.

All rules should then come into effect on Wednesday night (November 24th).

The new measures should apply until December 15th.
