There are three categories of contact cases.

People at high risk are those who do not have a complete vaccination schedule and who have had direct contact of less than 2 meters with the positive person: conversation, meal, physical contact, or who have shared an indoor space for at least 2 meters. less 15 consecutive minutes.

People vaccinated for at least 7 days are considered to be at moderate risk, and those with a history of covid-19 confirmed by a screening test present a negligible risk.

  • In everyday life

- If you are vaccinated against covid-19,

you do not have to isolate yourself.

You must, however, perform a screening test, then a second 7 days after the last contact with the patient (17 days after the date of the onset of symptoms if you live with it).

- If you are not vaccinated against Covid-19

(or immunocompromised), you must perform a first antigen test or PCR.

Even in the event of a negative result, you are required to respect isolation at home.

Either 7 days from the date of the last risky contact with the person positive for Covid-19, or 7 days after the end of the symptoms of the sick person if you live with it.

  • In elementary school

-If a case is confirmed in your child's classroom,

all students in the group must self-isolate for seven days.

A test must be carried out, then a second test seven days after the last contact with the confirmed case.

If the last test is negative, the pupil's legal guardians must present a sworn statement to be able to return to class.

If this certificate is not provided, the isolation is extended for an additional seven days.

Vaccinated teachers are required to be present in class.

  • In college and high school

When a case is confirmed in a middle or high school class, the instructions vary depending on the student's vaccination status.

-If the student is not vaccinated,

he must isolate himself for seven days from the last contact at risk.

He must perform two screening tests: one immediately and another seven days after the last contact.

-

If the pupil is vaccinated,

a test must be carried out immediately.

If the result is negative, the student can return to class.

He will perform a second test seven days after the last contact with the confirmed case of covid-19.

you can benefit from a work stoppage up to 7 days after the date of the last contact with the patient.

If you are self-employed, you can obtain a childcare work stoppage on the health insurance website.

-If your child under 16 is positive for Covid-19 and must isolate himself:

For employees who cannot telework, one of the child's parents can request a compensated derogatory work stoppage of 7 days, without waiting period, with an employer supplement, whether vaccinated or not.
