Eighty-six years since the passing away of the Sheikh of the Martyrs, Izz al-Din al-Qassam, and his memory is still immortal in the hearts of the Palestinians.
From the center of the Independence Mosque in the occupied city of Haifa, Al-Qassam declared that the British are the head of the calamity and the disease, and all capabilities must be directed to fighting them and expelling them from Palestine before they can fulfill their ominous promise to the Jews, the “Balfour Declaration,” which made it a target of the British occupation, especially after Izz al-Din al-Qassam warned the worshipers in One of the Friday sermons in 1927 about leniency with Jewish immigration to Palestine.
Wasfi Abdel-Ghani, Secretary of the People’s Committee for Solidarity with Syria, affirmed that Palestine resides in the hearts and minds of the Syrians, and for its liberation, they sacrifice lives and blood and all that is precious and precious, and this is witnessed by what was presented by the resisting Archbishop Hilarion Kabuji, son of Syria. Al-Qassam, whose martyrdom anniversary passes on the land of Palestine these days.

The martyr al-Qassam, the son of the Syrian city of Jableh, came to Palestine as a resistance to the British occupation. As we commemorate the memory of his martyrdom these days, it is because commemorating the martyrs is a gift and embodiment of reviving noble and lofty values and spreading the spirit of sacrifice and redemption for the sake of liberating the land. His will over time and that with the sacrifices of the Syrian people and the bravery of the Syrian Arab Army, salvation will be for the countries of the region and Palestine at the forefront. The victories that are achieved on Syrian land today will be a victory for all Arabism.
The engineer, Shadi Abdo, the son of Haifa, considered that the martyrdom of Al-Qassam in Palestine after his struggle against the French in Syria confirmed that the Arab homelands are one and that the enemy, although it has many faces, is also one. Martyr Al-Qassam can perpetuate his last slumber, proud when he sees the motherland, Syria, still holding on to the ember of rejecting the occupation of Palestine. It has not and will not change for a day and will remain heading towards Palestine.
