The legal oath was taken before President Bashar al-Assad by Amer Ismail Hilal, Governor of Latakia Governorate, Thaer Nasih Salhab, Governor of Idlib Governorate, Namir Habib Makhlouf, Governor of As-Suwayda Governorate, and Louay Maph as Governor of Daraa Governorate.
After that, President al-Assad met with the neo-conservatives, in the presence of Prime Minister Hussein Arnous, and provided them with his directives and wished them success in their missions.
On the 17th of this month, President al-Assad issued four decrees appointing new governors for the governorates of Latakia, Idlib, As-Suwayda and Daraa.
