When the officers arrived, the suspect was already gone.
He was searched for and officers of the Support Command (USK) of the Central Franconian Police Headquarters came across the wanted man in the immediate vicinity.
When the man saw the officers, he took the scissors out of his jacket pocket and assumed a threatening posture.
Since he refused to put the scissors down despite repeated requests, an officer from the USK used the taser against him.
The 67-year-old was slightly injured - he was hospitalized.
Because of his unstable mental condition, he was subsequently placed in a specialist clinic.
The man is now being investigated on suspicion of the threat.
