FIFA this evening (Monday) unveiled the finalists for the "THE BEST" awards for 2021, with the winners to be announced in an online ceremony on January 17, 2022.
The nominees for each award were selected by panels of women and men football experts.
Public voting for each category will be open until December 10, 2021, and eventually FIFA will announce three finalists for each award in early 2022.
In the FIFA Player of the Year category are Karim Benzema (France / Real Madrid), Kevin de Bruyne (Belgium / Manchester City), Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal / Juventus / Manchester United), Robert Lewandowski (Poland / Bayern Munich) , Leo Messi (Argentina / Barcelona / PSG), Neymar (Brazil / PSG), Arling Holland (Norway / Dortmund), Giorgini (Italy / Chelsea), Angulo Canta (France / Chelsea), Killian Ambape (France / PSG), Muhammad Salah (Egypt / Liverpool).

In the coaching category are Antonio Conte (Inter / Tottenham), Hansy Flick (Germany / Bayern Munich), Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Roberto Mancini (Italy), Lionel Scaloni (Argentina), Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid), Thomas Tuchel (Chelsea).
Candidates for the goalkeeper of the year are Alison Becker (Brazil / Liverpool), Gianluigi Donaroma (Italy / Milan / PSG), Edward Mendy (Senegal / Chelsea), Manuel Neuer (Germany / Bayern Munich), Caspar Schmeichel (Denmark / Leicester City).
