The “Qasd” militia backed by the American occupation forces fired live bullets to disperse a demonstration condemning its terrorist practices in the village of Al-Atta, south of Al-Hasakah.

Local sources told SANA that the “Qasd militia” brought in more than twenty “four-wheel drive” cars equipped with machine guns and transported dozens of armed men, in addition to several cranes to disperse the residents and close the shops located on the public road between the city of Hasaka and Al-Shaddadi area, and proceeded to steal their contents.

The sources added that the people resisted the heavily armed militiamen, threw stones at them, blocked roads with burning tires, and forced them to leave the area.

The villages of southern Hasaka governorate are witnessing a popular movement against the “Qasd militia” linked to the plans of the American occupation, which is manifested by the protest demonstrations condemning the terrorist practices of this militia in parallel with the intensification of the popular factions’ armed attacks targeting the positions and movements of the militia’s militants, which led to the killing of dozens of them in recent months.
