Damascus-SANA

A new book was published by the Arab Writers Union entitled Research in Arab Theater by writer and playwright Farhan Bulbul, in which he presented his visions of the reality of Abu Al-Funun in Arab countries, especially regarding negative phenomena in writing.

The book contains different readings of the writer Bulbul about the flaws in theater in the Arab world and the decline of the good theatrical text after the great glory that he achieved in the past years, during which he attained high and important ranks.

In the book, he presented aspects of theatrical criticism and the role of the artists in directing this process, because many find that criticism is not fair or objective when it does not take into account the circumstances in which the show is presented on Arab theaters.

Bulbul presented research on the reality of the Arab theatrical performance and the decline of its presence among the audience and its impact on successive crises and wars in the region, reviewing at the same time how to write text and theater criticism in a systematic and applied manner, entering into the mysteries of the theatrical game, clarifying its basic rules and avoiding mistakes.

The book, which is in 197 pages in large pieces, is filled with various literary and critical forms, according to what the writer Bulbul sees in a way that is appropriate to convince the recipient.
