A fire broke out in a residential building on Castle Peak Road, Yuen Long, in the early morning of the day before (20th). An 80-year-old woman and her middle-aged son and daughter-in-law in the unit fell into a coma and were sent to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment.
As of now at 2:30 in the afternoon, a spokesperson for the Hospital Authority stated that the injured woman surnamed Deng in 80 passed away at about 3 noon yesterday, while the 49-year-old man surnamed Sheng and the 50-year-old woman surnamed Wu were still in critical condition.

At 4 o'clock in the morning the day before the incident, a residential unit in Rongguang Building, Nos. 68-76, Yuen Long Section of Castle Peak Road, caught fire.
Firefighters rescued two women and one man from the fire scene, including a 49-year-old household surnamed Sheng, a 50-year-old wife surnamed Wu, and a mother surnamed Deng in 80. The three were in a coma and were sent to hospital in critical condition.
