From this Monday, Saxony will restrict large parts of public life in view of the rapidly increasing corona numbers.

The stricter rules will initially apply until December 12th.

Dresden - Except for libraries, all cultural and leisure facilities, bars, clubs and discos must close.

The Christmas markets are also canceled, major events and other festivals are not allowed to take place.

Tourists are no longer allowed to stay overnight and the gastronomy is only allowed to open between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. with the 2G rule (vaccinated / recovered).

There are no restrictions for basic supply shops, i.e. for supermarkets, drugstores, pharmacies, beverage markets, stores for pet supplies or petrol stations.

For all other shops, the 2G rule applies, according to which only vaccinated and convalescent have access.

This also applies to visits to the hairdresser.

Other stores offering body-hugging services will remain closed.

Prostitution is prohibited.

Members of a household are only allowed to meet one person.

Vaccinated, convalescent and children up to the age of 16 do not fall under this rule.

In addition, additional exit restrictions apply to unvaccinated people in Corona hotspots.

As soon as the weekly incidence in the respective district is over 1000, they are no longer allowed to go outside the door between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. without good reason.
