Woman's body hidden under the cot: the perpetrator is still on the run - the police are puzzled

Review: On November 17, 2020, relatives of Benafsha M. (34) in Altperlach reported missing.

She spoke to her mother on the phone every day, usually in the morning to meet up for breakfast.

But suddenly there were no more calls from Benafsha M. Her mother finally called the police.

A patrol passed Ramersdorf and looked into the apartment.

But no trace of the missing woman.

Munich: Investigators only found the body during the fourth search

A day later, the homicide squad found traces of blood.

On November 19, the forensic team was back on site.

Since officers found more dried blood, the police assumed it had been violent from then on.

But the investigators did not discover the body of Benafsha M. until the fourth time in the apartment - it was under a cot.

Her upper body was covered with stab wounds - and the perpetrator was long gone ...

Video recordings showed that husband Abdul had been spotted twice at the main train station on the day the missing persons were reported, i.e. November 17th.

According to information from our editorial team, he fled to Afghanistan.

The problem: the German authorities cannot catch him there without support.

“There is currently no mutual legal assistance with Afghanistan,” says Chief Public Prosecutor Anne Leiding.

Murder in Munich: Police received 38 clues - none brought the solution

So is the fact never resolved?

According to the Munich police headquarters, 38 reports have been received so far, all of which have now been processed.

There is still no trace of the perpetrator.

The police only spoke of indications that “a stay abroad is likely”.

Benafsha M. leaves behind two small children, her sons are four and eight years old.
