Anzing - inviting children from irradiated regions of Belarus to take a relaxing holiday in Upper Bavaria in the summer: That is one mainstay with which the Anzing initiative “Help for children from the Chernobyl area” has become known far beyond the boundaries of the district (we reported recently about the current state of affairs).
But there are other fields of activity of the Anzinger Helferkreis, which are no less important in their efforts to make life a little less worry-free, especially for the young people in the Belarusian village of Wolinzy.
There are currently eight young people who regularly receive 70 euros per month so that their training can be financed.
Everything is running on a safe basis, assures Ingeborg Nünke, the chairwoman.

Help for children from the Chernobyl area: 65 people can work
In this way it had been possible to give 65 young men and women from Wolinzy and the surrounding area jobs that they might never have achieved without the help of Anzing;
including doctors, nurses, mechanics, engineers, biotechnicians, waitresses, foresters, electricians, shop assistants and veterinarians.
The extent to which this commitment was received by the people around Ingeborg Nünke is shown again and again by letters from Belarus that the Anzinger woman collected.
One family wrote literally: “We would like to express the warmest words of our gratitude and a deep bow to the following families: the Wallisch family, Doll and Wendl.
With the help of their kindness and attention, these families have left unforgettable memories in our hearts. "
Help for children from the Chernobyl area: Visiting Bavaria also has a positive psychological effect
According to another party, the psychological effect of the visits to Bavaria by the young people from Wolinzy mentioned at the beginning should not be underestimated.
