In the Ebersberg Forest, vigorous fir trees were stripped of a large part of their branches.
This can damage the trees for a long time.
District
- The district forester of Kirchseeon made an annoying discovery in the local wildlife park part of the Ebersberg Forest: Unknown people had robbed several vigorous fir trees of a large part of their branches - apparently to gain fir twigs or handicraft material for the Advent season.
The state forests responsible for the area Wasserburg are now announcing resistance.
"We will not tolerate such a forest crime and will increasingly control it," said the boss, Heinz Utschig.
A bouquet of twigs is okay.
In the present extent, however, it was property damage that would damage the tree for a long time.
Either the fir trees would take a long time to grow back - or they threatened to die off completely.
"The success of the forest conversion will be ruined," complains the forest manager and asks for more consideration for the trees in the Ebersberg forest.
