Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization Ahmed Al-Tamimi stressed that the international silence on the crimes of the Israeli occupation against Al-Aqsa Mosque encourages it to persist in violating international law and committing more crimes.
Al-Tamimi said in a statement carried by Wafa Agency today that what the occupation forces are committing against Al-Aqsa Mosque and protecting settlers during its storming is an assault and a violation of its religious sanctity, which contradicts what is stated in international conventions, including respect for beliefs, sanctities and freedom of worship.
Al-Tamimi explained that the violations and crimes of the occupation come within the framework of the Zionist strategic plan based on the displacement of Palestinians and the Judaization of the entire Palestinian land, calling on the international community to fulfill its obligations towards international agreements and laws signed by the countries of the world, which criminalize the occupation’s violations of human rights, including the freedom of worship of Muslims in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
