The seven-day incidence of almost 400, more than 45,000 new infections and 300 deaths in one day: As a result of the unchecked increase in the corona numbers, numerous federal states are tightening their corona rules.

Bavaria
In view of the rising corona numbers, the Bavarian cabinet decided today to take tough countermeasures.

, even more drastic restrictions apply: the restaurants, hotels, sports and cultural facilities must close, and all kinds of leisure, sports and cultural events are prohibited.
Unlike initially planned, however, hairdressers are now allowed to remain open.
Schools and daycare centers remain open throughout Bavaria.
The same applies to retail - but the following restrictions apply: one person per 10 square meters and in 1000 hotspots one person per 20 square meters.
Berlin
The capital will tighten
the corona rules
from Saturday
.
The 2G regulation is to be extended to other areas such as retail, hotels, adult education, driving schools and sports.
Shops with everyday goods such as supermarkets or drugstores are excluded from the 2G regulation.
Berlin is also introducing 2G Plus regulations.
In addition to the 2G rule, there should then be a mask requirement in the cultural and leisure sector.
Where wearing a mask is not feasible, such as in clubs or during sports, additional distances or a negative test result should be necessary.

Lower Saxony
With effect
from November 24th
, the protective measures in Lower Saxony's Corona Ordinance will once again be significantly expanded and intensified.
The indoor meeting of many people is only allowed to vaccinated and convalescent people.

In many areas of public life,
stricter 2G rules
will apply from tomorrow
and later in warning level 2 also 2Gplus rules. This applies to restaurants, events, sports, hairdressers or accommodation. Mask requirements and distance requirements are expanded. Stricter protective measures apply inside than outside.
The Lower Saxony warning level concept is tightened again: the warning levels come into force earlier, warning level 1 from a seven-day hospitalization incidence of three (previously six), warning level 2 when the hospitalization incidence is six and warning level 3 is then nine.
This means that the resolution of the Prime Minister's Conference of November 18, 2021 will be implemented.
Even before warning level 1, the first aggravation occurs from a 7-day incidence of new infections of 35, instead of previously only at 50.
North Rhine-Westphalia
Stricter corona-related restrictions will also apply here in the future.
In the leisure area, access restrictions apply across the board for adults who have not been vaccinated against the coronavirus or have recovered from it (

).
In areas with a particularly high risk of infection - such as discos, clubs or carnival celebrations - even those who have been vaccinated and those who have recovered have to present a current negative test (

Exceptions apply to minors and people without a vaccination recommendation or to those who cannot be vaccinated.
Saxony-Anhalt
