Because the visitors are too loud: Acoustics upgrade of the Dietersheimer Bürgersaal is not enough

Eching would have to spend 176,000 euros so that more than ten events per year are possible in the Bürgersaal Dietersheim.

But that's not the only problem.

Eching / Dietersheim

- Ten events that end after 10 p.m. are tolerated by the District Office in the Bürgersaal.

For further use - for club parties or private events - the municipality would have to make extensive structural changes.

In order to adhere to the guideline values, all glazing areas would have to be renewed, the wooden walls on the south side and the south gable had to be upgraded.

The ventilation openings on the east facade are a bigger problem: "These are nothing more than holes through which the sound can penetrate unhindered", says Georg Stettner from the building physics office Ingenieure Süd.

A new ventilation concept with sound insulation would therefore have to be worked out.

The open space in front of the western entrance would have to be closed after 10 p.m.

But the renovation is not enough: "There is no point in implementing the structural measures if the noise outside is not controlled and reduced," says the expert.

You would have to make sure that after 10 p.m. there are no more than five people in the eastern open spaces - towards the fire department parking lot - and no more than four people in the entrance area.

The open space in front of the entrance on the west side would have to be closed after 10 p.m.

Then, according to Stettner, the guideline values could be observed in principle - and approval of the change in use would be possible in principle.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

From an organizational point of view, this would be feasible via signs, but difficult to control in practice.

Patricia Linner (SPD) thought out loud about setting up a beer garden, which, according to the expert, would leave a little more leeway for a company.

Of course, the problem remains that a neighbor could possibly overturn the whole thing with a lawsuit.

"I think the lack of alternatives is terrible," regretted Stephanie Malenke (SPD).

Malenke: Not a good solution to "invest in the blue"

A displacement of town houses from the town center "onto the green field" could not be the solution.

On the other hand, according to Malenke, it is not advisable to now “invest in the blue”.

"It would be a huge loss not to operate the hall any longer," emphasized Lena Haußmann (Greens).

She spoke out in favor of seeking agreement with the neighbors.

The administration was commissioned to sound out all possibilities for a business at the district office.
