Kolbermoor - There was a violent assault near Rosenheim at the weekend: A 17-year-old is said to have attacked two women - and seriously injured one of them in the face.
Now the criminal police are investigating.
Brutal attack near Rosenheim: 37-year-old defends herself massively
According to the police report, the incident occurred early Saturday morning, November 20, around 1:40 a.m. in Kolbermoor (Rosenheim district).
There the man is said to have strangled a woman in the street and tried to take off her pants.
However, the 37-year-old put up a massive fight.
The suspect and his companion then fled.

A resident became aware of the situation and rushed to the young woman's help.
A little later, the 17-year-old returned to the scene with a companion.
As the officials report, he now pretended to be a police officer.
The suspect also tried to grab the victim's backpack.
The 52-year-old resident prevented that.
As a result, the adolescent is said to have hit the woman so severely in the face that she suffered severe facial injuries.
According to the current state of the investigation, the suspect's male companion was not involved in the acts.
The two then fled on foot.
The police immediately started a manhunt - with success: a little later, the 17-year-old was temporarily arrested.

After receiving first aid on site, the 52-year-old had to be taken to a special clinic in Munich and operated on because of the complex and serious facial injuries.
The 37-year-old suffered minor injuries.
She was also cared for in a hospital.
At the request of the responsible public prosecutor in Traunstein, the 17-year-old has already been brought before the responsible investigating judge.
However, he did not issue a pre-trial detention order against the juvenile offender.
The criminal investigation agency in Rosenheim is now investigating the suspect for attempted rape, attempted robbery and serious bodily harm.
