German Health Minister Jens Spahn called today for more restrictions to contain the massive rise in coronavirus cases.
"The situation is not only dangerous, it is tragic now in some areas in Germany and we have to move patients because the intensive care units are full," Reuters quoted youths as telling Radio Germany.
The sharp increase in infections in Germany and neighboring Denmark prompted the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to advise against travel to these two countries.
