On his Instagram account, the Secretary of State for European Affairs had posted a photo in which he was not wearing a mask

It is a movement that has not really gone unnoticed.

The Secretary of State for European Affairs, Clément Beaune, deleted from his Instagram account a photo in which he was, without a mask, alongside Jean Castex.

However, since Monday, the Prime Minister is officially positive for Covid-19.

What motivate the decision of Clément Beaune.

"He deleted the photo because it seemed inappropriate given the context", justified, to the Parisian, the entourage of the Secretary of State, who also specifies that he "has been tested negative".

A relaxation "from time to time"

But this deletion was quickly noticed, in particular by BFMTV.

Especially since this is not the first time that the government's slackening of barrier gestures has been singled out.

Last week, already, a video showing Jean Castex and Gérald Darmanin shaking hands in a room, but without a mask, had caused a reaction.

Asked about the subject at the exit of the Council of Ministers last Wednesday, Gabriel Attal, assured that the members of the government were "obviously very careful" while conceding that there could be "from time to time, a moment of inattention , a gap ".

“We all relaxed a bit, and that's normal.

We must therefore take them back, ”for his part conceded Emmanuel Macron, during his speech at the beginning of November.
