The Champions League returns once again.

Between this Tuesday and Wednesday, 16 matches will be played corresponding to day 5 of the group stage of the most important football tournament in the world at club level.

Some teams arrive on this day already classified for the round of 16 of the competition: Liverpool (group B), Ajax (group C), Bayern Munich (group E) and Juventus (group H).

Other teams are about to qualify, including Chelsea, who play in the same group as Juventus.

The London team is practically in the round of 16, but Zenit still has mathematical hopes (although minimal, as they would have to thrash in one of their two remaining games and beat Chelsea on the last day).

  • Real Madrid is the first team to score 1,000 goals in the Champions League

The highlight of day 5 of the Champions League will be on Wednesday, when Manchester City and PSG meet, with Lionel Messi, teams that are in front of group A and that are very likely to advance to the second round.

Next, the games of this Tuesday.
