He stopped funding the vaccination centers on September 30, to request that they reopen three weeks ago.
He also pushed ahead with the booster campaign at best half-heartedly.
Now there is wild vaccination, but he did not initiate a meaningful prioritization for risk groups.

So the term of office of Spahn, who started with so many ambitious plans and even more announcements in this difficult ministry, ends in a mean disaster.
Because the dramatic situation in the clinics is not only fed by the corona wave, but also from system errors in clinic care and nursing.
Already clear: Presumably no politician will ever pacify all these construction sites.
But at the moment most should at least be happy if someone else is allowed to make a new attempt in the ministry.
