Hapoel Haifa estimates that a record number of spectators will reach the team's upcoming home game, on Sunday against Maccabi Tel Aviv. About 4,500 fans secured their place in Sami Ofer, with 2,000 of them among the visiting crowd.
On the red side of the Carmel, it is expected that 5,000 fans of the team will be in the stands on Saturday, a significantly higher amount than previous home games so far this season.
Regarding the Haifa derby that will take place next Thursday, the Reds bought about 1,000 tickets within a few hours and they will fill the podium with about 2,800 fans, since Maccabi Haifa will host the game.
Until Thursday the sale will be for subscribers only, after which, the rest of the audience will be able to purchase tickets.
Beyond that, professionally, coach Elisha Levy intends to start at the front with the young Itai Boganim, alongside the Slovenian Alan Ozbolt, due to the absence of the injured Alon Turgeman.
