District - In the Starnberg district, the final exams in their respective IHK apprenticeships began on Tuesday, November 23rd, for 130 trainees.

Katja Lindo, acting chairwoman of the Starnberg Chamber of Industry and Commerce, wishes the future specialists from training companies in industry, trade and services every success with the exam: “A successfully completed training is a major milestone in these difficult times. Our companies need highly trained young skilled workers in all industries and disciplines in order to implement their plans for the future, ”says Lindo.

First, on November 23rd and 24th, the written final exams for 100 candidates in commercial and related professions are on the program, including retailers and office managers, bankers and tourism and leisure professionals. From December 7th, the exams for 30 candidates in technical professions will follow. This includes prospective industrial mechanics, mechatronics and electronics technicians.

In order to achieve the IHK vocational qualification, the trainees have to master oral or practical exams in addition to the written part.

The written IHK final exams take place nationwide at the same time.

The examination locations for the trainees from the Starnberg district are in the state capital.

The IHK stands for more than 60 percent of all apprenticeships.

There are currently almost 250 IHK training companies in the Starnberg district.
