The dislocation of electoral fiefdoms is not observed only in the case of political systems destabilized by the disappearance of the personalities who had patiently built them or in that of the erosion of the influence of an old family dynasty, historically rooted in a territory.
Other electoral strongholds, built by militant apparatuses and therefore apparently more solid, have also collapsed in recent decades.
