Corona fines in Bavaria: Without a mask, 250 euros are quickly lost

Anyone who does not adhere to the Corona regulations * in Bavaria should have a loose wallet, because there are severe penalties. A total of 17 violations are listed in the Bavarian “Corona Pandemic” catalog of fines from September 3, 2021. While there were hardly any rules in the Free State at the time the catalog was adopted, new ones are being added almost every day. But also entrepreneurs, for example in the catering and hotel industry, have to adhere to numerous regulations. These are mostly checked by law enforcement officers from the police and the public order office.

If you get caught doing it, 250 euros are wasted.

You have to pay just as much if you are caught drinking alcohol in a non-alcoholic zone.

If you are caught celebrating in public places and facilities, you have to pay 500 euros.

Corona fines in Bavaria: Providing incorrect contact details quickly costs a lot of money

It is particularly expensive for the hospitality and cultural industries. There are the strictest rules here. Anyone who does not pay attention to compliance with the 2G or 2G-plus rules or has not come up with an adequate hygiene or infection protection concept faces a fine of 5000 euros. The customers, guests or visitors are also not protected from a penalty. For example, if you are caught in a hotel without proof, you get 250 euros. It only becomes more uncomfortable if you take part in an unauthorized meeting in a closed room. That costs 500 euros.

It was abolished for a short time, and now it is back - contact recording, for example, in the catering industry. So if you don't scrutinize your guests, you can lose 1000 euros in no time. However, if the person gives false information and it is discovered, he must expect a fine of 250 euros.

The sums are always due if the perpetrator can be accused of intent.

If you have been caught violating the rules, the catalog of fines provides for a doubling of the penalty.

However, if the perpetrator shows understanding or the danger for other people was only slight, there can also be a discount.

You can get away with negligence more cheaply.

In any case, it is certain that if you don't adhere to the Corona rules and get caught, a lot of money can be lost quickly.
