With a new Corona regulation, Lower Saxony is transitioning almost across the board to a 2G rule in public life.
That said Prime Minister Stephan Weil (SPD) on Tuesday in Hanover.
In many places, from Wednesday onwards, only vaccinated and recovered people would be admitted.
This also means "a severe restriction for unvaccinated people".
Hanover - In Lower Saxony, the pandemic situation is even less dramatic than in other parts of Germany.
"But it worries us too," said Weil.
According to the new regulation, as in other federal states, the warning levels come into force more quickly.
In many cases, those who have been vaccinated and recovered in addition to 2G must also present negative tests (2G plus).
