After the federal-state summit last week, many federal states adjusted their corona regulations, including North Rhine-Westphalia.
It becomes more uncomfortable there, especially for those who have not been vaccinated.
Düsseldorf - Last Thursday, the prime ministers of the federal states, together with Chancellor Merkel and future Chancellor Scholz, decided on new rules for containing the corona virus.
The main focus here is on expanding 2G and 3G measures.
North Rhine-Westphalia has now also adjusted its regulations.
Health Minister Karl-Josef Laumann presented on Tuesday: In the entire leisure area, the 2G regulation will apply from Wednesday, November 24, 2021.
Specifically, 2G applies to:
Museums, exhibitions, concerts, theaters and cinemas
Animal parks, zoos and amusement parks
Swimming pools and wellness facilities
Sports events (not only for spectators, also for amateur athletes)
Christmas markets and folk festivals
tourist overnight stays
Body-hugging services (with the exception of medical / nursing services and visits to the hairdresser)
Corona in NRW: From Wednesday 2G and 3G rules
For facilities in which a high incidence of infections is to be expected, the 2G-Plus rule will even apply from Wednesday.
The following areas are affected:
Clubs, discos
Dance events
Carnival celebrations and comparable traditional events
New Corona rules: 2G and 3G in NRW from Wednesday, November 24th
In these areas, vaccinated and convalescent people must also present negative test evidence.
It does not matter at first whether this is a monitored rapid test (not older than 24 hours) or a PCR test (not older than 48 hours).
Minors and people for whom the Robert Koch Institute does not have a vaccination recommendation and people who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons are excluded from this rule.
According to Health Minister Laumann, these regulations apply regardless of the current hospitalization rate.
Only if this rises above a value of 6.0 will the cabinet, according to Laumann, give new advice on how to proceed.
Corona rules in North Rhine-Westphalia: 2G and 3G apply here from Wednesday
In addition, from Wednesday, November 24th, the 3G rule will also apply in the following areas:
at work, in public transport and long-distance transport
Access to indoor gatherings
Events of school, university, vocational or professional education
all kinds of congresses and fairs
Meetings of municipal bodies
Funerals, civil weddings
Visits to the hairdresser and business nights
The municipalities can also to a certain extent decide on measures independently, such as the mask requirement in the city center, says Laumann.
Politicians and doctors are currently worried about the coming Christmas party.
A new survey has shown that the proportion of positive corona tests has increased significantly.
