Step by step, the Hohenbrunn municipal council is approaching the plan to designate an area for schools and housing west of the railway line.
Among other things, the state secondary school is to be built there.
In the current step, however, the question of trust was more in the foreground.

This only provides for the areas that actually need to be changed, i.e. that are not already included in the 1999 zoning plan.
Roughly only three areas are planned: for supply systems (waterworks), a general residential area and the construction area for public needs.
According to Silke Butenandt-Denk from the Munich architecture firm “bgsm”, the flexibility that can arise in the further process steps should not be taken away.
She emphasized: "That is not the final plan yet." For example, reports are still pending.
They are expected by the end of the year.
In addition, the architects are curious to see what the assessment is, for example in the Munich district office.
Criticism of the sports field in the residential area
Even so, some of the council members were too spartan. Finally, there were numerous discussions and the retreats about where green spaces should be in the area, how to deal with the succession area (keyword: biotope west of Hohenbrunner Straße) and what considerations there are for the sports facility. The latter are planned to the west of the waterworks. That is the wrong place, thinks Pauline Miller (Citizens' Forum). Rather, the sports field belongs to the school. Florian Weber (CSU) replied: "It is absurd that a sports field should be placed in the residential area." It was retrograde to want to reduce the planned residential area.
Rolf Kersten (Greens) raised concerns if what had been discussed in the past could not be found in the plan.
Not that the public is given the wrong impression: “This is where a lot of people go crazy.
The population has high expectations. ”His parliamentary group colleague Wolfgang Schmidhuber said that the resolutions passed by the committee would not be reflected in the preliminary draft:“ I would like what we want to appear in the plan. ”
Butenandt-Denk, on the other hand, spoke of a lack of clarity in this planning status, in order to be able to incorporate everything that still comes from the sponsors and the public.
After all, the exact stipulations in the development plan would be made later.
Protect green spaces
Vice Mayor Anke Lunemann (Greens) summarized the remarks in the committee: “We are concerned about the population.
We have to represent the resolutions and the planning vis-à-vis the population. ”Mayor Stefan Straßmair (CSU) therefore formulated an addition to the resolution that the succession area must be considered to a“ sufficient extent worthy of protection ”.
The same applies to green areas, which must be adequately secured.

Mechthild Heinmüller (SPD) noted that the local council was on the right track.
She acknowledged the uncertainties expressed with: “We mistrust ourselves.” If at the end there is a plan on the table that does not meet his wishes, the municipal council will certainly not agree.

This means that the sponsors and the public can participate at an early stage.
In the new quarter, Straßmair is planning a kick-off event, "preferably in a face-to-face event".
But that is very questionable with the current corona situation.
