The Public Establishment for Drinking Water in As-Suwayda Governorate restored 7 wells to service in a number of areas, after completing their repair and maintenance.
The director of maintenance and investment in the foundation, Eng. Samih Nasr, told SANA reporter that the wells that were repaired and restored to service after stopping during the last period included (Al-Suwaida 15, Al-Quraya 4, Al-Tha’ala Station 8, Khalkhala 4, Qum 2, Baka 1 and Deir Al-Laban 1).
Nasr added that the foundation's workshops are working during the current period to maintain and repair wells (Sweida 12, Rasas 5, and Al Raha 7) while continuing to follow up on malfunctions that occur in the wells and deal with them according to the priorities and available capabilities.
About a week ago, the Public Establishment for Drinking Water in As-Suwayda restarted the wells of Shaqqa 2, Al-Thala station No. 4 and 11, and As-Suwayda No. 6 and 26 after repairing them.
