Italy recorded 10,047 new infections with the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
Reuters quoted the Italian Ministry of Health as saying that the total number of injuries reached four million and 942 thousand and 135 injuries, while the total number of deaths rose to 133,330 after recording 83 new deaths.
And the World Health Organization issued a warning earlier today that the old continent, which is witnessing the strike of the fourth wave of the Corona virus, will face 2.2 million deaths by the spring of 2022.
The organization added that the continent of Europe is still in the grip of the Covid-19 pandemic, and that the forecast for the health emergency does not bode well.
