Switzerland today extended the provision of a booster dose of the Pfizer vaccine against the Corona virus to people over 16 years old.
Reuters quoted the Swiss Authority for the Control of Medicines and Medical Products as saying that the extension decision “paves the way for a broader use of booster doses of vaccines against corona,” noting that people who face a high risk of contracting the virus can obtain a booster dose from the age of 12 and over.
