CareER is the first charitable organization in Hong Kong that provides employment matching services for people with high academic qualifications, students with special educational needs and graduates, and is committed to promoting local companies to establish a workplace inclusive culture of the disabled.

This year, CareER was sponsored by the Swire Foundation "Trust and Hope for the Future", and supported by strategic partners, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Charity Fund, knowledge partner Deloitte China, and the Equal Opportunities Commission, launched the Hong Kong’s first corporate disability inclusion index "CareER Disability Inclusion Index" (CareER DII)", inviting different companies and multiple departments to participate, helping participating companies to identify areas for improvement through quantitative assessment, so as to facilitate the implementation of sustainable inclusive policies for the disabled in the future.

CareER refers to the tools and indexes researched in many countries around the world, and combines its own experience in communicating with employers and members with disabilities in various industries to develop a disability inclusion index framework that meets the local conditions.

CareER DII measures corporate strategies and measures in eight areas, namely, organizational policies and structures, citizen and community participation, products and services, supply chain and procurement strategies, recruitment, employee participation and retention, job adjustment, and information accessibility.
