The Anatolia News Agency, speaking on behalf of the Turkish regime, quoted security sources as saying that the Public Prosecution Office in Izmir Province issued arrest warrants for 112 people, including 15 active-duty soldiers, 32 former soldiers, and 65 people who were expelled from military schools, and 76 of them were arrested during operations carried out in 22 provinces. .
In the capital, Ankara, prosecutors issued arrest warrants for 101 people, 53 of whom were arrested in operations carried out in 42 provinces. In the northern province of Samsun, three other people were arrested in Ilkadem and Atakum.
It is noteworthy that the Erdogan regime has launched severe repression campaigns since the attempted coup of July 2016 in order to pursue its opponents and opponents inside the country, where it arrested and dismissed tens of thousands of people, both civilians and military.
