The new chairwoman Gabriele Lemke was elected to succeed Peter Stich at the end of September.
Traubing
- Gabriele Lemke had agreed at the end of September to chair the umbrella organization of the Traubing associations and to take over the office from Peter Stich. . Only for Stich's longtime vice Vitus Schlechtleitner had initially no one found. Schlechtleitner had agreed to continue to act as a deputy with the condition that his post would be filled this year. That worked: Alexander Bartsch, who is active with the Altschützen Traubing, is now taking over the office.
The Traubinger Community has existed since 2002, when the 1000th anniversary celebrations had to be prepared in 2005. Peter Stich has been active in the umbrella organization of the Traubinger clubs for just as long. First as Vice under Executive Board Erich Gahr, then from 2005 as Chairman with Schlechtleitner at his side. The task of the Traubing Community is to support the village community, to maintain the customs and traditions in Traubing and to strengthen the village infrastructure. "The two long-term board members achieved all of these goals in fruitful cooperation with the associations and the many helpers", announced the new board. Both have now been adopted in a small group for the time being.
The first project of the new board could be the maypole in the new year - if a suitable tree can be found.
“We want to make it dependent on that,” says chairwoman Lemke.
It has also not yet been clarified whether there will be a big or a small party.
