Two border police officers and five civilians were arrested this morning (Monday) on suspicion of trafficking in weapons. A special DIP investigation team opened an investigation in cooperation with the Etgar unit of the police.
Later in the day, the police and civilians suspected of extending detention will be brought to the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court.

The Etgar unit (locating and apprehending car thieves) is a unit in the intelligence division of the police subordinate to Blade 433. Since civilians are involved in the affair, the unit is also involved.
The investigation was revealed in the midst of the fight against violence in general and the use of illegal weapons in particular.
