Against femicide there is "the urgency to proceed with new rules to be pursued also in synergy with the other administrations that are interested" and "we are working with the other ministers, Cartabia, Gelmini and Carfagna".
"I hope that the package of rules of the Ministry of the Interior can go to the Council of Ministers next week. Certainly there is a need to
change the minimum penalties
to be able to proceed with more effective prevention tools".
This was stated by the Minister of the Interior, Luciana Lamorgese, in Catania at the meeting 'This is not love' against gender-based violence.
