Eight minors were arrested by the Carabinieri for having beaten, harassed and robbed other very young people on several occasions in a park in Besana Brianza (Monza), in execution of a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Juvenile Court of Milan, against children aged between 15 and 16, between the provinces of Monza and Lecco.
For all of them there is also a ban on the use of electronic devices.
Four denounced on the loose, one of which is an adult, for having participated in some of the 'punitive expeditions'.
They stole and beat other very young people because "you have the money". Thus the eight members of the baby gang arrested justified themselves with the victims of the attacks. This is what emerged from the investigations of the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Seregno (Monza), coordinated by the Milan Prosecutor's Office for Minors, who starting from December 2020 have launched a difficult and articulated technical activity to reconstruct the modus operandi of minors subjected to pre-trial detention, as well as the participation of four other very young people reported, only one of whom is of age. Twelve disputed episodes. The investigation was initiated by the attack on a boy who, surrounded and threatened, was robbed of 30 euros in his pocket, in the "Villa Filippini" park in Besana Brianza, in the province of Monza.The next day the group returned to the same park, where they forced some peers and friends of the first victim of the attack to take off their shoes and clothes, after having pushed and threatened them. "I steal everything I like, so you have the money", the words of one of the baby attackers. A few days later the group slapped another minor who was walking with his grandfather, while about twenty other children observed the scene, urging them to hit harder. The next day the gang of minors returned to the park for a "punitive expedition" against the same group of friends, accused of having "spied on the cops". Three of them ended up in hospital with various bruises from beatings.For the eight recipients of the precautionary measure, the investigating judge also imposed a ban on the use of social networks, the use of the Internet or mobile phones with people other than their families.
