Tehran Mayor Dr. Alireza Zakani reiterated that Syria is an important country in the axis of resistance and that Iran always stands by it, expressing his country's readiness to provide all expertise and experience in various fields to Syria.

Zakani invited the governor of Damascus to visit Tehran to learn about the available capabilities and discuss possible ways and mechanisms of cooperation.
For his part, Diop stressed that the enemies of Syria failed to impose their will on it through terrorism and aggression and resorted to the practice of economic terrorism to achieve their goals, noting the importance of cooperation between the two capitals of the two friendly countries, especially in the field of development and reconstruction, which serves the interests of both sides and benefits their peoples who are subjected to unjust and unjust sanctions. legitimacy.
