The coordinator of Corona intensive care in the southwest, Götz Geldner, told the German Press Agency on Wednesday that there were three sick people each from Karlsruhe and Pforzheim, the majority of whom are ventilated.
"Under certain circumstances, the transfer could happen this week," added the medical director of the Ludwigsburg RKH clinics.
The request for the required intensive care beds was made to the states of Hesse, Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate, which together with Baden-Württemberg form the so-called clover leaf southwest.

Corona in Germany: RKI reports record numbers again
