If we were the editors of "Wedding at First Sight," we would probably call the episode that aired last night "Look Surprised."
Mainly because the first part of the decision stage summoned us to a fairly predictable TV, which the followers of the series (heck, even followers of this column only) could predict from miles away.
Like at a wedding, like in the Seychelles, what was is what will be.
But to provide us with the mandatory dose of tension at these stages of the season, couples separate for 48 hours before the decision-making process - so that each one weighs the last month and a half of their lives and processes it into a decision.
(Or, for Mano - as an opportunity to finally release gases under the sheets, as he himself told us in the last episode).
Shortly before that, Karin and Itamar have a picnic and go through all the stages of the mismatch between them.
Itamar reveals to us that his nickname for Karin is actually a bear, which is interesting because we do not remember a single moment in this damn season that he used nicknames for her that are not "atonement", "bubla", "sima" or "house".

In the Shani and Danny section there is nothing new under the sun. Just like in the Seychelles and throughout the season, those two have not really done much. Shani puts on make-up to mark their last date, which includes drinking tea, her attempt to fiddle with the jar with the vegetation Danny brought her as a gift before they met, and Danny making more weird faces and writhing in embarrassment. When Shani gets in the taxi Danny tries to hide what is clearly a huge relief. Unlike Sunny the dog, staring at his potential mother walks away on a taxi to the horizon, then decides he is not evacuating, refuses to be dragged back to Danny's strange owner's house, then tries to slam himself on a passing vehicle and fails to do so. Okay, we may have invented the last part a bit, but you know very well that something in this dog broke down there.
At the time of the decision, Danny will share two compliments that are given to those who are no longer interested in his romantic company.
"She's very dear to me," he would say.
"It has a lot of colors" and also "it is very special".
And yet you do not want her, man.
"I wanted, I meant, I brought everything into the process," Danny will try to sell the look to experts Yael and Danny, and maybe they'll even buy it.
