On the A8 near Bad Aibling, police officers found around 30 kilograms of hashish and cocaine in a car.
An arrest warrant was issued against the 61-year-old driver.
Bad Aibling - In the night from Saturday (November 20) to Sunday (November 21), officials from the Raubling border police found around 30 kilograms of hashish and cocaine in a car.
On the A8 they checked a Hyundai with Belgian registration.
When the police asked the 61-year-old driver from the Netherlands to show his papers, the man looked noticeably nervous, as the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office wrote in a report.
He was allegedly en route from Belgium to Italy.

Bad Aibling: Police seize large quantities of drugs
During the subsequent search of the vehicle, the officers discovered a professional smuggling hiding place in the rear.
Inside were a large number of packages, all of which were wrapped in brown and silver tape.
When the boxes were opened, the police found around 30 kilograms of hashish and two kilograms of cocaine.

The driver was arrested immediately and brought before the judge, who issued an arrest warrant.
The vehicle and the cargo have been secured and are now being examined and the drug content of the drugs determined.
