The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 61 deaths and 856 new infections with the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
The Ministry's spokesman, Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, stated in a statement that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 352,123, and the total deaths have reached 2,052.
Abdul Ghaffar indicated that 719 people recovered from infection with the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of people recovered to 293,374 people to date.
