The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, said during his morning conference that he will propose Victoria Rodríguez Ceja, current undersecretary of Finance, to occupy the presidency of the Bank of Mexico.
"Arturo Herrera will not be proposed for the Bank of Mexico. (...) We want women to participate, for this change to take place, recognizing the work that the undersecretary has done," said the president.
