The exhibition, which was held as part of the Syrian Culture Days event, is one of the activities of the Suhail Al-Ahdab Forum for Fine Art, which also includes, according to Sami Taha, Hama Culture Director, a workshop for the artists and professors at the center and for its students.

Taha explained that the program of the event, which is being held with the active participation of the Hama Culture Directorate, the Syrian General Authority for Books, the General Organization for Cinema and the Directorate of Theaters and Music, continues until the 27th of this month and includes book fairs, theatrical performances, training workshops, creative initiatives and film screenings in the cultural centers of Hama, Salamiyah, Masyaf, Mahrada and Suqaylabiyah.

The first day of the event witnessed a musical performance by Nagham Mashreqi troupe at Dar al-Assad theater in the city, a screening of the film Damascus Aleppo, and a training workshop for young cadres on shadow theater techniques in cooperation with the Syrian Trust for Development.

Ibrahim Al-Khatib, supervisor of the book fair, indicated that the titles in the exhibition are issued by the Book Authority in various literary genres such as prose, story, poetry, play, story, novel and childhood series, explaining that the exhibition includes discounts of up to 35 percent.

For his part, Fadi Atoura, supervisor of the Fine Arts Exhibition, found that this initiative is a real opportunity for young talents to highlight their work and creativity and export their artistic abilities.
