In response to the corona rules that apply from today, the BFV announces new measures for amateur football.

A decision on the continuation of gaming operations is to follow.

Update from November 24th, 1:30 p.m

.: The BFV has now made a decision and is sending its clubs into the winter break early.

Only in the Regionalliga Bayern, which is classified as a professional league, will the game continue to run.

Munich - what's next for amateur football?

The latest corona regulations in politics raised big question marks in amateur football.

Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) did not announce much concrete for Bavaria's amateur footballers.

The Bavarian Football Association (BFV) is now providing information about the rules that will apply from today (November 24th).

BFV: Football from today only with 2G + - children up to six and schoolchildren excluded

Accordingly, football is only permitted if the 2G + rule is complied with.

Those who have recovered and who have been vaccinated must also be able to show a negative test result.

PCR tests that are no more than 48 hours old and antigen tests that are no more than 24 hours old and self-tests carried out under supervision, which are also no more than a day old, are accepted.

This does not apply to children up to the age of six and schoolchildren, as they are regularly tested in school.

BFV: Unvaccinated people should no longer play - decision on early winter break announced for today

Unvaccinated amateur footballers are currently no longer allowed to participate in training and games.

In its announcement, the BFV also promised a decision to continue gaming operations during the de facto lockdown for Wednesday (November 24).

A continuation would result in additional work for the clubs, after all, 2G + yes must be checked.

If the incidence of 7 days is over 1,000 per 100,000 inhabitants, the sports facilities will also be closed.

BFV: Do clubs have to do without unvaccinated players in the remaining games?

The question now arises as to whether some clubs will still have enough players to provide a team for the games.

In the Regionalliga Bayern or Bayernliga Süd, for example, games are currently planned up to and including the weekend from December 3rd to 5th.

The teams should not be happy about having to do without a large number of players who have not yet been vaccinated.
