The Corona Cabinet confirmed tonight (Wednesday) in a telephone poll that passengers entering Israel will be allowed to perform an antigen test in the foreign country up to 24 hours before takeoff.
To date, those arriving in Israel have been required to perform a PCR test up to 72 hours before departure to Israel.
Flying abroad? These are the options for checking Corona before the flight
A passenger who chooses an antigen test will be required to perform it through a recognized body in the foreign country, and not in a home test.
A passenger who stays abroad for less than 72 hours will not be required to undergo any inspection before departure to Israel (depending on the current situation).
