This was followed by the re-establishment of the wearing of a mask in public places (73%), the strengthening of checks on the health pass (68%), and the reduction of gauges in places welcoming large audiences (65%).

Finally, the extension of the vaccination booster to all adults, regardless of their age, is supported by nearly three in four French people (72%), while one in two (53%) respondents say they are inclined to seek a new injection as quickly as possible.

Although the avenues envisaged by the executive overlap point for point with the wishes expressed by the French in this study, the latter do not mainly give Emmanuel Macron credit for good management of the health crisis.

More than half of them (54%) indeed judge its results negatively since the onset of the pandemic in March 2020. To such an extent that nearly three out of four respondents (74%) fear that the violent demonstrations currently observed in Europe (Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria) in the West Indies (Guadeloupe, Martinique) are not imported into France and are spreading to the whole of the metropolis.
