Google has launched a set of digital apparel for mobile users to try out virtually.
According to the company's official website, the free 12-piece set, which includes a metallic fitted jumpsuit, a shiny quilted coat and a futuristic outfit, does not exist and is just a set of sophisticated digital simulations created using 3D software.
The company indicated that fashion lovers can see themselves wearing the designs by uploading their photos to a specific website and choosing the piece they want to wear. The digital dress is then placed over the original photo, creating the impression that the user is actually wearing the piece.
Digital fashion has been around for more than five years, but it has only begun to spread in the past two years. In 2019, a transparent dress made by digital fashion house (The Fabricant) was auctioned for $ 9,750.
